What is a Dental Insurance?
Some people are shocked to find out that Medicare doesn’t cover dental work. While preventive and routine dental procedures aren’t covered, Medicare Part A will pay for certain dental services that are received in a hospital; it can pay for inpatient hospital care if you need to have emergency or complicated dental procedures, even though the dental care isn't covered.
You can purchase a stand-alone dental plan to help with dental costs. They are offered through private insurance companies. Another way to get dental coverage is by choosing a Medicare Advantage plan that includes dental in the plan or that has an optional dental rider that you can purchase under your plan.
We would love to help you get the dental care you need.
